Modeled after Military Specifications: MIL-PRF-16173, Grade 4 and MIL-C-83933, our Military-Grade Rust Prevention RP-342 is a heavily-concentrated rust preventive designed for a wide range of applications.

Before applying RP-342, ensure that the surface is clean and dry to achieve the best possible adhesion. Shake each spray can vigorously for about 2 minutes to ensure a uniform coat. During longer application sessions, shake the aerosol cans intermittently.

Spray a generous, even coating on the surface and let it dry. While a single coating provides exceptional protection, additional coats can be applied if desired. Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next one. It is recommended to apply RP-342 over a non-rusted surface, but it can also be used on moderate surface rust to prevent it from spreading. Do not apply RP-342 over flaking or pitted rust; address these issues before using the product.
