POR-15 HIGH BUILD PRIMER - Providing a sandable and buildable coating, the POR-15 High Build Primer can be applied over cured POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating and all POR-15 topcoats for a quick and easy refinishing process. This single component formula fills in minor imperfections and has excellent adhesion to steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, and other primed and painted surfaces.

INTERLOCKING PRIMER - The POR-15 High Build Primer is specially formulated with adhesion characteristics that make it ideal for most painted surfaces, especially POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating. This primer enables quick refinishing and recoating of products with its sandable and buildable coating.

APPLICATION - To achieve maximum adhesion, sand the surfaces to be painted with 320 grit sandpaper. Clean both painted and bare metal surfaces with POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser, and treat bare metal surfaces with POR-15 Metal Prep for optimal adhesion. Apply one or two covering coats of POR-15 High Build Primer using a spray or brush, allowing 10 to 15 minutes between coats. The High Build Primer can be topcoated after 24 hours of curing.

WHEN DO I NEED THIS? - POR-15 High Build Primer is highly resistant to penetrating topcoats such as lacquers, enamels, and two-component finishes. It also sands very smoothly, making it a versatile option for your next project.
